The Big Rig by Lost Surfboards is a high-performance shortboard for the larger, or older surfer who still wants to rip and surf high-performance boards rather than migrate to hybrids or mid-lengths.

This is a Driver that has been scaled up to make things like paddling easier for the older/larger guys. This model was specifically created to suit guys like Cole Houshmand.

The Lost Big Rig features:
  • Thicker centerline, with rolled deck and smooth sloping "not too boxy” rails.

  • Continuous rocker, that accelerates through the tail, under the rear foot, but relaxes in the entry rocker.

  • Single concave throughout, but deepest between the feet and mellowing in the front 2’ and rear 1’ of the board.

  • Noticeable double concave through the fins and under the rear foot, to cut through the thoroughly modern, high-performance tail rocker.

  • A curvy, catch-free outline, with a modest squash tail, for average surf.

The entry rocker is a bit more relaxed and the nose outline is a touch wider, making for an easier paddle through the line-up and wave-catching.

Big Rig

A nicely sized model, for those who want the litres without to much length. High performance. It hasn't missed a beat. Still grovels pretty well, but loves some shape and size. A good all round board.
