The Big Rig by Lost Surfboards is a high-performance shortboard for the larger, or older surfer who still wants to rip and surf high-performance boards rather than migrate to hybrids or mid-lengths.
This is a Driver that has been scaled up to make things like paddling easier for the older/larger guys. This model was specifically created to suit guys like Cole Houshmand.
Thicker centerline, with rolled deck and smooth sloping "not too boxy” rails.
Continuous rocker, that accelerates through the tail, under the rear foot, but relaxes in the entry rocker.
Single concave throughout, but deepest between the feet and mellowing in the front 2’ and rear 1’ of the board.
Noticeable double concave through the fins and under the rear foot, to cut through the thoroughly modern, high-performance tail rocker.
A curvy, catch-free outline, with a modest squash tail, for average surf.
The entry rocker is a bit more relaxed and the nose outline is a touch wider, making for an easier paddle through the line-up and wave-catching.
