FCS II Sky Brown PC Tri Fins

Sky Brown's signature thruster set, in Performance Core.

Sky didn't start from scratch. She tested a range of fins and landed on FCS's Accelerator Small, the template that suited the way she surfs and let her keep refining her turns. It's oversized for an all-round fin, with a fuller tip that adds control to the Accelerator's speed, flow and response, so it rewards surfers who attack the wave and throw aggressive turns. PC gives it a medium tip flex, made for young surfers to link one turn into the next with confidence.

It copes with all sorts of conditions and really shines when the wave gets critical: punchy beachies like D-Bah, and Kirra when it's pumping. FCS's pick is a performance shortboard with moderate-to-low rocker. Suits boards like the Synergy YTH and Inferno 72 YTH by Sharp Eye, and the Better Everyday Grom Swallow by Channel Islands.

Pastel graphic. Nothing soft about the template.
