MF Glass Fibre Fusion Tri Fins
FCS II Mick Fanning Glass Fibre Fusion Tri Set
The MF fin template, now featuring FCS’s advanced Glass Fibre Fusion (GFF) Technology made in Switzerland, delivers high-end precision and performance straight from the lab to the lineup.
Overview
Mick Fanning’s Glass Fibre Fusion fins feature Rapid Flex Recovery produced by High Tension Tip Flex — a dynamic and responsive pattern that harnesses energy and instantly snaps back to shape. The result is increased speed and acceleration between turns, along with more control in critical moments.
Renowned as the pinnacle of high-performance surfing, the MF template is now built with Swiss-engineered GFF construction. This robotic precision process combines a uni-directional fibreglass skin with a 65% short-strand fibreglass and resin polymer composite base. The result? A fin that’s lightweight, incredibly strong, and delivers a fast, responsive flex. Expect efficient power transfer, seamless rail-to-rail transitions, and a feeling of pure connection between board and fin.
“This is the new benchmark for precision engineering in a moulded performance surfboard fin. GFF construction feels really close to my black and white Performance Core fins I use daily. In fact, I can use them in a wider range of conditions from waist-high to well overhead. These fins are stiff enough that I can push as hard as I want, yet still get that flare and release, which is important for the way I like to surf.” - Mick Fanning
Ideal Conditions
Open-face, down-the-line waves. Particularly good in point and reef breaks.
Board Types
-
Designed to fit the FCS II Fin System
-
Recommended for performance shortboards with moderate-to-extreme rocker
Fin Family
Carver — Powerful, drawn-out turns with added hold.
Glass Fibre Fusion Technology
GFF construction combines a uni-directional fibreglass skin with a composite base made from 65% short-strand fibreglass and resin polymer. The result is a strong, lightweight fin with a smooth, predictable flex designed to harness your power and release it back as acceleration and speed. A new benchmark in fin performance.
