The Firewire Spun Honey is Dan Mann’s latest high-performance groveller, developed with Kevin Schulz and inspired by the hugely popular Spitfire. Designed for weak beach breaks, everyday surf and wave pools, it delivers easy speed while maintaining the responsiveness needed for progressive surfing.
A diamond tail, refined outline and performance-focused rocker help the Spun Honey pivot quickly through tight sections while maintaining control at speed. Underneath, a deep double concave flowing into a subtle single concave generates lift and drive without sacrificing rail-to-rail responsiveness.
Built in Firewire’s lightweight Helium construction and configured with a versatile 5-fin setup, the Spun Honey bridges the gap between a traditional groveller and a performance shortboard.
