Pyzel White Tiger is built for average to below average days when you still want a proper shortboard feel. It paddles easy, gets on the plane fast, and carries speed through weak sections, while still letting you lay into turns, hit the lip and go to the air when the section lines up. Originally shaped as a side project for John John Florence, the Pyzel White Tiger surfboard quickly became a favourite for both John and Ivan for its fast, skatey feel.

Key Features

- Stubby outline with a full nose and wide squash tail for instant speed and stability
- Foam forward with a beak nose and extra volume under the chest for strong paddle power
- Low, smooth rocker designed to generate and hold speed in softer waves
- Bottom contours: single to double concave through the front, finishing with pronounced vee through the fins for smooth rail to rail transitions
- Flat deck and tapered rails keep it floaty without feeling bulky

Specs and Best Conditions

- Best in small to medium, average and softer surf
- Fast and forgiving, but still sits in the performance shortboard lane
- Ideal as a step down when your everyday board feels too refined for the conditions

Sizing and Volume

Most surfers ride the Pyzel White Tiger 2 to 5 inches shorter than their regular shortboard, often up to 1 inch wider, with a touch more foam than usual.

Not sure on your litres? Use our Surfboard Volume Guide and aim slightly higher than your standard shortboard volume for easier paddling and speed.

If You’re Comparing Models
