Twinnies & Tinnies 2026
The MNM Boardriders are stoked to present the 2026 Tinnies & Twinnies, proudly supported by Surfboard Empire and Precinct Brewing.
Join us on Saturday, 15 August 2026, for a full day celebrating everything that makes twin fin surfing so much fun. Expect fast, loose and stylish surfing as competitors put their twin fins to work in an action-packed day of rail-to-rail surfing.
The event will be held somewhere between Mermaid Beach and Miami, with the final location selected based on the best available surf conditions. The confirmed contest site will be announced via the MNM Boardriders social media pages and the Tinnies & Twinnies GC Instagram page in the lead-up to the event.

Divisions
- Open Men (18 years and over)
- Over 30 Men (must be 30 years or older on the event date)
- Over 40 Men (must be 40 years or older on the event date)
- Over 50 Men (must be 50 years or older on the event date)
- Open Women (18 years and over)
Competitors may enter and surf in one division only.

If you've competed before, you already know how epic this event is. If it's your first time, you're in for one of the most fun days on the Gold Coast surfing calendar.
Contest Management
The event will utilise the Live Heats competition management system for heat scheduling, live scoring, judging and results throughout the day.
Event Schedule
6:00 am – Event bump in
7:00 am – Competitor check-in
7:30 am – First heat begins
7:30 am – 2:00 pm – Competition
3:00 pm – Presentation and after-party at Precinct Brewing
