FCS built them with CI on Britt Merrick's proven CI Upright template. The upright outline gives you quick direction changes and vertical surfing in the pocket, while the fuller profile from base to tip adds the drive and control to push hard through a turn and still let go clean off the top. Made for boards with more relaxed rocker, they fire you off the take-off with instant speed, which is exactly what you need when the waves have no push in them.

So they cover both ends: steep, punchy beachies when they're hollow, and everyday surf with nothing in it. Main Beach and the Central Coast, Bondi on a soft day, and Hossegor when it's hollow. PC keeps them light, with a progressive flex that balances drive, control and response. FCS made them for CI's performance boards, the Solution in particular.
