Happy Everyday EPS - ECT
Introducing the Happy Everyday, crafted by renowned shaper Britt Merrick for Channel Islands. This exceptional surfboard sits perfectly between your high-performance shortboard (Two Happy) and your step-down/groveler (Rocket Wide).
THE CI HAPPY EVERYDAY FEATURES;
-
Curvier Outline: Shortened rail for increased maneuverability, especially through the tail area.
-
Optimized Rocker Design: Lower entry and exit rockers to enhance paddle and planing speeds.
- Advanced Concave System: Single concave under the front foot for acceleration, transitioning to a generous double concave through the fins for effortless rail-to-rail transitions and lift in smaller waves.
The Happy Everyday is engineered for high-performance surfing on the waves most of us encounter daily. Developed from the highly praised Two Happy performance shortboard model, CI's new Happy Everyday fills a crucial gap in every surfer’s quiver: the ultimate everyday shortboard.
Inspired by the positive feedback from Channel Islands’ Pro Team, Britt aimed to incorporate the stellar performance attributes of the Two Happy but tailored it to suit typical surfing conditions. This board is for the days when you want to rip but aren't feeling the groveler vibes, and it's also not quite the epic conditions you’d use your high-performance shortboard for.
To achieve this, Britt shortened the rail for a curvier outline, particularly through the tail area. Both the entry and exit rockers were lowered to boost paddle and planing speeds, allowing the Happy Everyday to perform across a broader range of conditions. The single concave under the front foot acts like a gas pedal, while the generous double concave through the fins ensures smooth, responsive rail-to-rail transitions and plenty of lift in smaller waves.
For surfers who love the sound of the Happy Everyday but seek something for more demanding in high-quality waves, the Two Happy is your ideal option. The Two Happy excels in delivering high-performance surfing in premium conditions. Together, they form a perfect duo of modern, high-performance surfboards designed to meet all your surfing needs.
ETC:
Channel Islands Surfboards’ Eco Carbon Tech (ECT): a new carbon hand lamination that will level-up your performance. ECT-built boards are livelier, stronger, familiar-feeling underfoot, and environmentally responsible.
ECT boards are hand-built by the same crew of surfers that have been crafting your boards for years. Available in PU/PE and EPS/Epoxy constructions, ECT can be custom-ordered on any board allowing your board to be built just for you and never leaving you stuck between sizes.
For those wanting to take their surfing performance to the next level, look no further than Channel Islands’ ECT-built boards.
*Please note there is a 10-12 weeks build time for out-of-stock sizes*
