The Firewire Too Fish is a remarkable evolution of Rob's acclaimed "Go Fish" model from 2017, infused with insights gained from the Seaside. The Too Fish offers a markedly distinct ride compared to the Seaside. Its rails delve deeper into the water, enabling tighter turns, and making it easier to transition back to the open face following a down carve or cutback. It fits effortlessly into small pockets or quick dumpy sections you find on most beachies. Unlike the Seaside, the Too Fish exhibits a pivot more akin to a shortboard, allowing for quick directional changes. This board offers a noticeable increase in speed through the pocket when compared to the Go Fish. While it may not grip the rail as firmly as the Go Fish, it certainly excels in terms of maneuverability within the pocket.
The Firewire Volcanic Too Fish has;
- Low entry & exit rocker.
- Single concave from below the nose.
- Middle to low rail, with a slightly wider point above the centre.

In his words, "My favourite in small and weak waves because of how thick and floaty it is in the forward two-thirds of the board, but this shape is also thinned out aggressively in the tail to enable hold in powerful waves. I've ridden the Too Fish in everything from overhead waves on the North Shore to perfect days on the reef at home, and also the weakest most disorganized junk surf at the beach break in front of my house. This is my favourite board for all conditions."
