FCS II Carver PG Tri Fins - Kelp
FCS's Carver template, in solid Performance Glass.
The elongated outline and high sweep let the board hold its line through a powerful bottom turn and keep holding through an extended carve. Performance Glass keeps the flex stiff and responsive, so it loads up as you lean into the turn and rebounds fast, turning it into drive and acceleration through longer, more committed lines.
Template and construction both point at bigger, more powerful surf, and it's at its best on point breaks: Burleigh and Snapper when they're running, Bells down south, and J-Bay on the trip. In softer surf the stiffness and sweep can feel catchy, unless you're leaning on it hard. It wants a board with deep concaves and moderate-to-extreme rocker.
Suits boards like the Ghost, Ghost Squash and Power Tiger by Pyzel, the Step Driver, Driver 3.0 Round and Squash by …Lost, and the CI 2.Pro Step Up by Channel Islands.
For the swell you've been watching on the charts all week.
