FCS II Christenson Twin + 1 PG Fins
Chris Christenson's twin, with a stabiliser, in Performance Glass.
The CC Twin borrows from his keels: a full tip, a straighter trailing edge and plenty of sweep, so it's set up for smooth, drawn-out performance surfing rather than flicky pivots. It finds speed down the line with almost no effort and stays fluid and controlled when you lay it over. The stabiliser mirrors the side fins' outline, short and stocky like a shark's dorsal, and the three work together so you can drive hard off the bottom without the tail skipping out. PG keeps all three stiff, and that flex stays true when you really load it up.
It's at its best drawing long lines and pushing through the steeper sections: the Sunshine Coast points when they're running, or Manly with a bit of push in it. FCS designed it around specific CC models, but it works across fish, funboards and twin fin boards, from high-performance twins to traditional fish. Suits boards like the Retro Tripper by …Lost, the Twinny by LSD, and the Flat Earth (LFT) by Firewire.
Shark fin included. Shark not.
